Have your wine delivered to Calais

If you can't make a personal visit to the vineyard, order your wine from home and have it shipped to our collection point at Calais, then collect it at your leisure - free of UK taxes.

Just tell us what you have ordered and we let you know when your wine is ready for collection. It's as simple as that!

You pay the vineyard direct and there is a small storage charge when you collect your wine. Otherwise, there are no margins or mark-ups - please see Terms below.

This service is exclusive to winedrive.com members.

You can bring wine back to the UK from France without paying UK Duty only if it is for your personal consumption and you carry it with you. Although there is no legal limit to quantity, HM Customs and Excise guidelines suggest a maximum of 120 bottles per traveling person. If you are buying a very large quantity, perhaps for a party or wedding, you may be asked to provide proof that the wine is for your personal use.

Terms:
Only WineDrive members can use this service.
Contract to buy wine is between the buyer and the vineyard or vineyards and the buyer must pay the vineyard or vineyards for all wine purchased. Vineyard prices include French taxes.
Winedrive member agrees to complete and submit the on-line shipment notification form available in Premier Pages. PLEASE NOTE: Completing these forms is essential for administering wine shipments with our vineyards. If a member places orders direct without completing the on-line forms, Winedrive Ltd reserves the right to suspend membership.
Our Calais collection point will only accept shipments from WineDrive listed vineyards.
Winedrive does not hold any information regarding shipments from vineyards. All inquiries regarding delivery must therefore be directed to the vineyards concerned.
Buyer agrees to pay collection point a handling charge of €3.59 per 12 bottles (or equivalent) payable on collection.
Collection must be within 30 days of notification that your wine is in Calais. Any shipments not collected within 30 days will be subject to an additional handling charge of €0.50 per bottle per week or part thereof, payable on collection. If the wine is not collected after three months, it will be disposed of and buyer will have no claim whatsoever against the vineyard, the collection point or Winedrive Ltd.
Winedrive Ltd, the collection point and their associates do not accept any responsibility whatsoever in relation to any claims regarding wine purchased from vineyards.
This service may not be used for the commercial import of wine to the UK. If Winedrive Ltd or the collection point have reason to believe this service is being missused, they will refuse to handle the order.
When placing an order with a winedrive listed vineyard for shipment to Calais, the member accepts fully these terms and Winedrive Limited terms and conditions.
