Vineyard Lists

WineDrive's exclusive vineyard lists are in our member's Premier Pages section which has more than 900 hundred pages of comprehensive travel and wine information as outlined below. The vineyard lists include wines which are held in high regard by the industry and represent good value across a wide range of appellations and prices.

Commercial independence is assured as the listed wine producers and communes appear by invitation only. The cost of providing the service is covered by an annual membership fee of just £70 (€98 or $141), an amount you could save on your first purchase at vineyard prices.

Because taste is a very personal thing, we do not presume to make specific recommendations. No two palates are the same and a wine or particular wine and food combination will create different taste sensations from one person to the next. We believe that anyone seeking to buy wines direct from the vineyard understands this and desires to taste and buy for their own enjoyment and not simply because some professional has recommended it.

About Premier Pages (members only)
Premier Pages is a comprehensive information service for the holiday-maker who is interested in visiting French vineyards to taste and buy. They direct you to producers of wines that are right for your taste and pocket, so you don't waste precious holiday time searching for wines which may or may not be what you are looking for.

The routes from our general pages are expanded with full itineraries which include tourist and historical information about all the main towns and places of interest en-route.

All Route and Places of Interest pages show map references and page numbers from the Michelin France Tourist and Motoring Atlas, greatly simplifying planing and navigation.

The reports of road works and delays shown in the 'Travel News' headlines page when you first enter WineDrive are expanded with information about diversions, delays, speed restrictions and warnings of any special hazards.

Wine and Vineyards
Our wine and vineyard information is expanded from the basic detail in our general pages and includes the 'Cyber Cellar' with comprehensive notes about everything from Champagne and corks to reading labels, how to taste wine and wine/food charts. The 'Virtual Vineyard' brings you monthly reports of what is happening in the vineyards and the trials and tribulations facing the vignerons as the weather and other factors impact the production of wines you will be drinking next year.

Newsletter and Contact
Members also receive an e-mailed newsletter keeping you up-to-date with what is happening in the vineyards and giving useful information about wine and travel in France.

There are also contact details for you to submit you own wine tasting notes and travel tips or holiday pictures, plus WineSniffer - a personal wine search service which sniffs out the vineyard producing your favourite French wine.
