'WINESNIFFER' TRACKS DOWN YOUR FAVOURITE TIPPLE
Looking for the source of that wine you picked up in a French supermarket?
Trying to find the vineyard producing a wine your friend or relative brought back form their last trip across the Channel?
There is often a favourite wine we would like to buy on our next trip to France and now WineSniffer can help you find the vineyard it came from. WineSniffer is a search service form wine and travel website, winedrive.com.
Said managing director, David Spokes: "More and more people are asking us to track down the source of wines they bought from a supermarket in France, or were given by friends, so we have introduced a search service to help sniff them out."
WineSniffer is a personal service run from WineDrive's office in France. "This is much more than a simple database search. We check through hundreds of references and use our contacts in the vineyards. When we have tracked down the producer, which usually takes less than 48 hours, we email information from address and contact numbers to credit card arrangements and languages spoken."
Winedrive.com already lists 100 vineyards and more than 750 wines, so if the search fails to sniff out the vineyard, there will always be alternatives to choose from.
WineSniffer is available free to all subscribers to WineDrive's Premier Pages and vineyard lists.
